The STAM Group officially came into being on 1st December 2000. Since then, it has been involved in structural
steel projects in Australia, Brunei, China, Malaysia, and Singapore. Prior to 1st December 2000, the team members
of the STAM Group started operating together from as early as 1989 as in-house technical divisions and departments
of one of Malaysia’s largest and most modern steel constructor at that time. The STAM Group, therefore, brings
together a collective experience of over 10 years in steel construction design and management - the STAM Experience.
STAM operates on the basis of partnering in the work it undertakes. Depending on the nature of work, the STAM Team
is focussed on working in strategic partnership with project owners, professional teams (architects and civil/structural engineers)
contractors, fabricators, and others to achieve the primary aim of timely delivery of good quality steel structures.
Today, the STAM Group applies its expertise in constructional steel engineering and construction in smart partnership
with HL Engineering - one of Malaysia’s premier steel constructors for the oil and gas industry. The combined resources
of the two companies provide customers with total expertise in steel construction.
